Grand County, Colorado
A reason to come every month of the year
Torchlight parades and powder days, rodeo nights and wildflowers, golden aspens and bugling elk. Here is what's happening around the lodge, month by month, and how we'd spend a long weekend.
Where we are
The quiet side of the Continental Divide
Grand County sits just over Berthoud Pass from Denver, at the headwaters of the Colorado River. It's home to Winter Park, the west side of Rocky Mountain National Park and Grand Lake, Colorado's largest natural lake, without the crowds of the I-70 resorts.
The lodge is in Granby, right in the middle of it all: seven minutes from the lifts, a short drive from the lakes and the park, and a long way from anything busy.
